"Rebuild and Renew"
Vision Verses
1 Corinthians 3:10 KJV
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Romans 12:2 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In 2026 we will study the Old Testament book of Ezra in order to see how we need to rebuild and renew our walk with the Lord. The book of Ezra was written at a time when Israel was coming back to their promised land after spending 70 years in captivity due to their disobedience to God's word. As they return to Jerusalem, they have the authority to rebuild the temple and renew the service.
This year we will learn from Israel's physical rebuilding of their temple to see what we need to do spiritually. This year we will challenge ourselves not only in the learning of our doctrine under grace but will also commit to memorizing key scriptures to help in the rebuilding and renewing process.
